EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are being accepted for existing vacancies and to establish a pool of qualified candidates for positions with Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health, INC. (RSBCIHI). Applications will be accepted by the Human Resources Department at any time and will be retained for a period not to exceed (1) calendar year from date of receipt. Appropriate testing for skill requirements may be given. A pre-employment physical exam, which includes drug and alcohol testing, is required. In addition, you are required to submit a copy of your Driver’s License along with your application for employment, if needed.

Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian applicants in accordance with the Indian Preference Act (Title 2 U.S. Code, Section 472 and 473) and the Indian Self Determination Act, Public Law 93-638, provided the applicant has submitted acceptable proof of Indian preference for employment, which is to accompany the application if you are claiming Indian Preference. NOTICE OF DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE ACT REQUIREMENTS:

RSBCIHI has adopted a Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy, in part, to satisfy its obligations under the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988. It is unlawful for any employee to manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance in the workplace. In addition, RSBCIHI must be notified within five (5) calendar days of any criminal drug statute conviction for a violation occurring in the workplace. Employees who are suspected of violating RSBCIHI’s Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Policy may be required to submit to an inspection of their person, vehicle or personal property. This may include medical testing for alcohol and/or drug use.

EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION FOR PROVIDER PROFESSIONALS ONLY
 

OUTREACH and NURSING DIRECTOR
Department: Nursing/Outreach
Open Until Filled
Salary Range: $96,000 - $126,000
 
Location: Morongo Health Clinic (Banning, Ca)
 
This position manages and implements departmental services for the Community Services Outreach Department and Nursing Department. Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Science degree from Accredited School of Nursing, a current California Nursing license and a Public Health Nurse Certificate. Extensive experience in ambulatory care with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position and as a public health nurse. Experience with computerized medical management system desirable. Must be able to work a variable schedule to meet client and program needs. Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.
 
 
 
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Department: Medical

Location: Morongo Health Clinic (Banning, Ca)
 
The Medical Director is responsible for all activities within the Medical Department, and also functions as a staff physician. Applicant must have a minimum of two years experience in medical management in an ambulatory care patient setting. Must be Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. A current California Medical License and DEA License are required. Must be able to work with the Indian Community and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.
 
 
 
 
PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE
Department: Outreach
 
Salary Range: $51,434 - $66,859

Location: As Assigned  (All Clinics)
 
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from accedited School of Nursing. Must possess a current California Nursing License and Public Health Nurse Certificate. Must possess a valid California driver's license and safe driving record. Must be able to work a variable schedule including evening and weekends to meet the program needs. Must be able to work with the Indian Community, and be sensitive to the Indian Culture and its needs.
